Supreme Court Issues Decision on Patient Protection and ACA

The Supreme Court today issued their decision on several provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA).  One of their rulings, by a 5-4 vote, upheld the individual mandate portion of the law.  This signifies that state based exchanges MUST be utilized in order to limit the intrusion of the federal government into our state’s health care delivery system.
